What's Happening at Women's Health Virginia ..?

We are a group of dietitians, dietetic technicians, and students who are current members of The American Dietetic Association. Women's Health (WH) DPG members address women's health and nutrition issues relative to the life stages that are unique to women including preconception, prenatal, postpartum, lactation and menopause. Join and keep abreast of the latest issues and developments in women's health, share expertise, expand skills, and participate in committees and projects.

Considering this point, we should take care of our health and future, if we don't know how, we can start at InsureLane and get free health insurance quotes online quickly and easily. In this way not only your body feel healthy, also you will be safe.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention is preparing for an increase in Swine Flu cases in the United States beginning Fall 2009. Pregnant women and infants are particularly vulnerable.  Because CDC’s prevention and care of Swine Flu recommendations are updated regularly, is important to monitor their Web site.

Women’s Health members address women's health and nutrition issues relative to the life stages that are unique to women including preconception, prenatal, postpartum, lactation and menopause. Members provide health and nutrition education for healthy women of reproductive age and deliver medical nutrition therapy to women with reproductive or medical complications. Nutrition interventions have the potential to improve the health of women and their children, and reduce both pregnancy complications and lifelong disease risk. Benefits of membership include a quarterly newsletter, the Women’s Health Report, which contains cutting-edge articles and professional practice tips.
Members also enjoy continuing professional education and networking sessions at national and state conferences. Alliances and partnerships with obstetric, perinatology and women's health groups create a vast network for professional growth and personal development. Finally, the Web site and listserv allow members to freely exchange ideas, explore career pathways and to communicate electronically.
